Established by Andy Schollick in 1975, Second Skin originally was all about custom wetsuits. Thirty thousand hand-made wetsuits later, Second Skin has now one of the best reputations in the UK for retailing surfing hardware, primarily wetsuits and surfboards.

Second Skin UK Surfshop is based in Braunton, North Devon, UK. Our Surf Shop is within a few miles of the surf breaks of Croyde, Saunton, Woolacombe and Putsborough. These offer a wide range of waves catering for the novice to advanced level surfer.

Our extensive experience in the wetsuit market has made us the only serious choice if you are looking for a new wetsuit. We have specialised in surfing suits for over thirty five years and can ensure that you'll get the correct size, style and thickness for your requirements.

Alongside our own Second Skin wetsuits we are proud to be agents for C-Skins, the No1 UK company and for Xcel wetsuits, widely regarded as the world leaders, Xcel wetsuits have been awarded the 'wetsuit of the year' award from the surf industry manufacturing association three times.

We stock over 150 new surfboards, secondhand surfboards, and 300 wetsuits. We pride ourselves on choice, customer service and sound advice.

We are agents for some of the UK ’s most respected surfboard manufacturers and carry a wide range of surfboards, including a selection of international brands.
